Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant experience in heavy industrial power plants in the United States. You will lead project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives, and ensure profitability through rigorous cost control and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities include preparing statements of work, managing costs and billings, and coordinating with engineering and construction teams.

Qualifications

Significant experience with project management methodology, budgeting, planning, and control.
Excellent verbal and written communications.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team and clients.
Ability to interact with varying levels of staff and vendors/subcontractors.
Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
Prepare detailed statements of work with WBS and budgets for approval.
Manage project costs and ensure profitability.
Oversee invoicing and ensure timely client payments; approve subcontractor/vendor invoices.
Monitor project status and escalate risks as needed.
Coordinate change management and communications with stakeholders.
