Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with heavy industrial power plant expertise. You will define projects, set schedules and budgets, manage costs and profitability, and coordinate client billing and subcontractor invoices.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 13+ years of work experience.
PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
Significant experience with design-build / EPC in heavy industrial power projects.

Responsibilities

Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
Prepares statements of work with WBS, budgets, and stakeholder concurrence.
Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
Prepares client billings and ensures timely payments; approves subcontractor invoices.
Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
Coordinates changes using change management protocols.
Communicates deadlines and objectives to the project team.
Prepares overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group.
Facilitates meetings with stakeholders and mentors junior PMs.
Prepares monthly reports, bid packages, addendums, and contract modifications.
