Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Electrical EPC projects across North America. You will lead engineering, procurement, and construction teams for transmission, substations, and distribution infrastructure while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Applicants should have 5+ years managing EPC utility projects, strong leadership, and a track record of budget and schedule control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Electrical Transmission & Distribution.
• Proven track record delivering EPC projects for utilities or energy infrastructure.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgets, schedules, and risk management.
• Ability to manage contracts, change orders, and vendor oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful execution of Electrical EPC projects (transmission lines, substations, distribution).
• Serve as primary point of contact for utility clients and stakeholders.
• Manage scope, deliverables, and execution strategy from kickoff to closeout.
• Coordinate across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning disciplines.
• Ensure designs and field execution meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and schedules; manage risks.
• Administer EPC contracts, including change orders and subcontractor oversight.
• Promote a zero-incident safety culture and ensure quality across activities.
• Provide status reporting and executive communications to clients and internal teams.
