Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Denver, CO is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC/Construction Management programs from pre-construction through warranty. You will manage safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relations on multiple projects.

You will lead planning, risk reviews, RFP/bid processes, and ensure compliance with project plans while mentoring field staff and coordinating with global teams. Local travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of relevant project management experience in construction.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and PM software.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety programs, train and promote safety performance on the project team.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and multiple projects.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost development.
• Develop client relationships and interface on proposals and project items.
• Negotiate prime contracts, CM contracts, subcontracts and change orders.
• Review project reports, budgeting, cash flow, and status; present to management.
• Collaborate with engineering and manage contract administration and documentation.
• Mentor interns and junior staff; provide performance feedback.
