Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Project Manager to guide EPC/Construction projects from pre-construction through warranty. You will manage safety, schedule, cost, quality, and client relations while coordinating with engineers and field teams.

Ideal candidates have a construction or engineering degree and at least 7 years of project management in construction. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, with experience across multiple sectors

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 7 years PM experience.
Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and PM software preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
Ability to manage large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience across aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, or related sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure successful project execution.
Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk reviews.
Coordinate client relationships and project reporting to management.
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
Mentor interns and junior staff.
