Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Senior System Engineer - EO/IR Analyst to join our Operations and Mission Analysis team. You will model EO/IR sensor products, analyze system performance, and develop solutions for warfighter applications in complex threat environments.

You will lead a small team of engineers and analysts, brief results to internal and external customers, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining active DoD Secret clearance and citizenship requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace, or related STEM field and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience modeling and analyzing EO/IR systems technologies.
• Experience modeling sensor phenomenology and target signatures.
• Active and transferable U.S. Secret government issued security clearance is required at time of application; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop EO/IR system models and analyses to support mission requirements.
• Define and execute analysis studies, including system analysis, trades, and operational effectiveness.
• Prepare and brief analysis results to internal and external customers.
• Lead a small team of engineers/analysts through tasking and scheduling deadlines.
