Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced environmental permitting professional to lead midstream and energy-transition projects, including FERC-regulated pipelines, across the U.S. The role emphasizes technical leadership, regulatory coordination, and strong client engagement within a flexible Gulf region team.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with FERC/NEPA compliance, resource reporting, and delivering regulatory submissions while upholding HSE standards and building long-term client

Qualifications

• Experience managing pipeline projects, including permitting large natural gas or liquids pipelines.
• Experience with FERC and NEPA requirements and processes.
• Experience managing FERC-regulated projects (7(b)/7(c) and prior notice).
• Experience developing resource reports for FERC projects.
• Excellent written and oral communication; customer-focused.”

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects and energy transition initiatives across the US.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination for species & 404/10, Coastal Zone Management Act, and Section 106 resources.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support proposals and new business opportunities.
• Create and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions.
• Ensure implementation of HSE policies and coordinate with HSE professionals.
