CDM Smith seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. This role focuses on regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local environmental programs and involves developing DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs, as well as risk assessments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilidades

• Supports site investigations and analysis for human health and ecological risk assessments.
• Develops data quality objectives (DQOs), Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs), and sampling and analysis plans (SAPs).
• Prepares conceptual site exposure models (CSEMs) and risk assessments (HHRAs, SLERAs, BERAs).
• Collaborates with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists to select project approaches and implement approved methods.
• Oversees technical meetings with clients and responsible parties, providing evaluation of project documents.
• Mentors junior staff and contributes to firm knowledge through white papers and conferences.
• Supports proposals and client requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Attends conferences and scientific venues to raise visibility of services.
