Job summary

Curtiss Wright Round Rock seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead V&V and Environmental Qualification testing for sensors and related devices in a regulated environment. You will develop comprehensive test plans, support design improvements, and ensure compliance with nuclear and aerospace standards.

The role requires strong hands-on test experience, documentation expertise, and the ability to mentor junior staff while coordinating with internal and external facilities in Round Rock, TX.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of environmental, seismic, or EMC testing experience.
• Knowledge of IEEE 323/344 and RTCA/DO-160 or MIL-STD-810.
• U.S. Person required for site access.
• Experience designing and executing test strategies for complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute V&V and EQ tests for sensors and related items.
• Develop and document Qualifications Test Reports (QTRs) and compliance matrices.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead efficiency improvements in testing practices.
• Collaborate with R&D, electrical/mechanical design, and QA teams.
