Job summary

RTX's Environmental Test division in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Environmental Test Engineer to lead vibration and structural testing across product development. The role requires hands-on testing, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure model validation and qualification.

The ideal candidate has STEM credentials with 5+ years of relevant experience, strong instrumentation skills, and proficiency in CREO Parametric and ANSYS Workbench.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental testing/product development.

Responsibilities

• Consult and provide testing guidance to internal program customers.
• Write test plans and procedures ensuring safety and compliance.
• Create schedules and budgets for testing.
• Oversee and conduct environmental testing for model validation and qualification.
• Analyze test data in real time and post-test to verify requirements.
• Communicate testing status to ET leadership and stakeholders.
• Design, model, and analyze fixtures using CREO Parametric and ANSYS.
