Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Round Rock, TX, is seeking a Sr. Electronics Design Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of nuclear-qualified electronics. You will design analog circuitry, create schematics, and layout PCBs for signal processing electronics, onsite in Round Rock, TX.

The role requires a BS in Electronics Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in SPICE, Altium, and PCB design. Collaboration with multiple departments and travel within the US may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience in electronics design.
• Proficient in SPICE modelling, schematic capture and PCBA toolsets (e.g., Altium).
• Strong understanding of analog electronics and PCB design; EMC/EMI knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of analog circuitry, including schematic creation and PCB layout.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
• Create and maintain product test reports, PPSs, ECNs, and BOMs.
• Review test data and approve documentation from colleagues.
• Perform product compliance testing to nuclear standards; monitor component obsolescence.
• Support customer approvals and source inspections; cultivate stakeholder relationships.
• Provide technical training and participate in inter-department process improvements.
• Travel to customers or other sites within the US as needed.
