Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Round Rock is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team specializing in the design, assembly, testing, and maintenance of high-reliability pressure sensors for nuclear applications, located onsite in Round Rock, TX.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology or a related field and 3+ years of hands-on experience in precision electromechanical assembly, instrumentation testing, and calibration.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in precision electromechanical assembly, instrumentation testing, repair, troubleshooting, or Aerospace/Nuclear related technical experience.
• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, test procedures, circuit diagrams, and product documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electromechanical pressure sensors, transmitters, and sensing elements using precision tools, microscopes, soldering and bonding techniques.
• Perform rigorous functional, pressure, temperature, and electrical testing on sensors to verify performance against specifications.
• Maintain strict nuclear quality standards with meticulous documentation and calibration records.
• Investigate and diagnose assembly failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design engineers, quality control inspectors, and production teams to improve yields and reliability.
• Calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot lab test benches and related equipment.
