Job summary

Actalent in North Charleston, SC, seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager / Environmental Engineer (PE) to lead brownfield redevelopment and commercial site development from due diligence to regulatory closure.

You will oversee Phase I/II ESAs, remediation planning, and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring quality, safety, budget, and schedule adherence across complex projects for industrial, retail, and municipal clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
• PE license (or PG) in good standing.
• 8+ years in environmental consulting/remediation or brownfield redevelopment.
• Experience leading Phase I/II ESAs and multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead brownfield redevelopment projects from site acquisition through regulatory closure.
• Oversee Phase I/II ESAs, remediation planning, and data interpretation.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and client communications across multiple projects.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and regulators to meet milestones.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Prepare technical reports, regulatory submittals, and client presentations.
