Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, Geologist / Project Manager to join our Princeton, NJ team. The role focuses on managing environmental investigations and remediation projects, delivering technically solid solutions, and supervising field activities.

You will develop proposals, coordinate staff, engage clients, and contribute to ongoing project delivery across a diverse portfolio, including regulatory compliance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s degree a plus).
• LEED AP or PE certification desired.
• 6+ years of related experience in environmental projects.
• Hazwoper training and annual certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Supervise field investigations and ensure accurate findings interpretation.
• Prepare and edit technical proposals and reports.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate cross-office teams.
• Support business development and client meetings.
