Job summary

Langan is seeking an Environmental Project Engineer with a strong background in environmental investigation and remediation to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. You will manage projects, deliver technically sound analyses, and supervise field activities while growing your leadership and client-management skills.

This role requires a PE, 6+ years of relevant experience, Hazwoper training, and solid knowledge of regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• PE certification is required.
• 6+ years of related work experience.
• Hazwoper training and annual re-certification.
• Regulatory requirements knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage projects.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as projects require.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Perform complex analyses for portions of projects.
• Supervise field activities and interpret findings.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules.
• Prepare proposals, reports, and other documents.
• Develop new client opportunities and attend business meetings.
• Oversee and coach junior staff on environmental projects.
• Coordinate work across offices and disciplines as needed.
• Interface professionally with clients, contractors, and staff.
