Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Engineer/Geologist/Scientist Project Manager in Ewing, NJ to lead complex site investigations and remediation programs across industries. You will mentor junior staff, guide client relationships, and shape innovative remediation strategies while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a PE or PG license in NJ or reciprocity, a 4+ year track record in site investigation/remediation, and active LSRP with HAZWOPER certification. Travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in site investigation and remediation.
• PE or PG license in NJ or reciprocity.
• Active New Jersey LSRP license.
• Proven project management skills with CERCLA/RCRA/state programs.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel and work independently with limited supervision.
• Driver's license required due to travel to client sites.
• Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complex site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects for multiple industries.
• Plan and oversee field activities including sampling, drilling, wells, vapor intrusion, and remedial construction.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and client relationships.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all projects.
