Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Managing Consultant, Environmental Project Manager (Engineer or Geologist) to lead complex remediation projects in the New England region, with strong client engagement and regulatory interaction.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee field programs, and deliver technically rigorous investigations under CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs. Boston or Hartford area with travel across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geology, or closely related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive environmental site investigation and remediation experience.
• Experience with CERCLA, RCRA, and state regulatory programs.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Professional licensure (PE/PG) preferred

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage site investigation and remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, sediment, and vapor intrusion.
• Plan and oversee field programs: sampling, drilling, well installation, remediation systems, and O&M.
• Develop work plans, technical reports, conceptual site models, scopes of work, schedules, cost estimates, and health & safety plans.
• Interpret environmental data, perform QA/QC, identify data gaps, and guide technical decisions.
• Evaluate remedial options and assist clients in negotiating cost-effective closure with regulators.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and client relationships.
