Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a talented environmental professional to lead natural resource assessment and permitting projects across the Southeastern U.S. The role emphasizes client relationship building, project management, and technical leadership in wetland, habitat, and NEPA work.

You will coordinate field surveys, regulatory submittals, and cross-functional teams, with travel to project sites and client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in an environmental discipline (biology, ecology, natural resources, soil science or related field).
• 15–20 years of experience with biological surveys and project management in the southeastern United States.
• Professional Wetland Scientists (PWS), Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB), or other certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management support on environmental planning, assessment, and permitting projects.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and seek opportunities for new business.
• Coordinate field surveys (wetland, stream delineations, vegetation inventories, wildlife surveys, habitat assessments).
• Coordinate regulatory submittals (NEPA, Clean Water Act, endangered species, state permits).
• Mentor and train team members and ensure appropriate technical oversight.
