Job summary

Stantec is seeking a seasoned environmental professional to manage natural resource assessment and permitting projects in the southeastern United States. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate field surveys, and build strong client relationships across power, transportation, oil & gas, government, and community development sectors.

Qualifications

  • 15–20 years of experience in biological surveys and project management in the southeastern United States.
  • Strong technical writing and quality reviewing skills.
  • Experience with wetland and stream delineations, habitat assessments, and regulatory submissions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for field work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and project management on environmental planning, assessment, and permitting projects for multiple sectors.
  • Manage all project stages from conception to completion, including budgets and client coordination.
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate field surveys and regulatory submittals (NEPA, CWA, Endangered Species).
  • Support health, safety, and environmental policies and training.
