Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced environmental professional to lead natural resource assessment and permitting projects in the Southeast. You will manage scope, budgeting, and client communications while coordinating field surveys and regulatory submittals.

Qualifications include a B.S./M.S. in an environmental discipline and 15–20 years of southeastern experience, with professional credentials preferred. Travel to field sites is expected.

• Experience managing natural resource assessment and permitting projects.
• Strong technical writing and quality review skills.
• Willingness to travel and conduct field work in potentially remote areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management on environmental planning and permitting projects.
• Manage project life cycle from conception to completion including budgeting and scheduling.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and seek new business opportunities.
• Coordinate environmental field surveys (wetland, stream, vegetation, wildlife, habitat) and regulatory submittals.
