Stantec is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist/Project Manager to lead natural resource assessment and permitting projects in the Southeast. You will manage projects, build client relationships, and coordinate interdisciplinary teams across wetlands, NEPA, habitat, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience on natural resource assessment and permitting.
• Proven technical writing and quality-review skills for regulatory submittals.
• Experience with wetlands, habitat, NEPA and regulatory processes.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management on environmental planning, assessment, and permitting.
• Manage all project stages from conception to completion including budgeting and scheduling.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships and seek new opportunities.
• Coordinate wetland/stream delineations, habitat assessments, and species surveys.
• Review documents for NEPA/404/401/408 and other regulatory submittals.
• Mentor team members and ensure appropriate technical oversight.
