Job summary

Stantec is seeking a senior environmental project manager in Georgia to lead environmental planning and permitting efforts for clients across the Southeast. You will oversee project teams, budgets, and scheduling, and ensure high-quality deliverables in compliance with NEPA, CWA, ESA, and state permits.

Ideal candidates will have 15–20 years of experience in natural resource surveys and project management in the Southeast, and hold certifications such as PWS, CWB, CEP, CFP, TN QHP, or PMP.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S in an environmental discipline (biology, ecology, natural resources, soil science or related field).
• 15–20 years of experience with biological surveys and project management in the southeastern United States.
• Certifications such as PWS, CWB, CEP, CFP, TN QHP, or PMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management on environmental planning and permitting projects.
• Manage all stages of projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Coordinate field surveys (wetland delineation, vegetation inventories, wildlife surveys).
• Review documents supporting regulatory submittals (NEPA, CWA, ESA).
• Mentor and supervise team members; build client relationships.
