WSP is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager and technical lead for our New England Environmental Planning and Permitting team in Merrimack, NH. You will independently manage permitting and planning projects, lead multidisciplinary teams, and drive business development while delivering high-quality technical reports and proposals.

You will mentor staff, develop scopes and budgets, and coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure compliance and project success.

Formación

• 10+ years managing environmental planning, permitting, and regulatory compliance projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing client relationships.
• Strong understanding of NEPA, USACE 404/10, CZMA, ESA, NHPA.
• Experience supporting FHWA, state DOT, transit, coastal, or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent technical writing for environmental documents and permit applications.
• Proven ability to develop proposals, scopes, and fee estimates.
• Existing relationships with transportation agencies or regulators in New England.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead environmental permitting, NEPA, and planning projects for transportation and coastal clients.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and client communications.
• Develop permitting strategies with agencies such as USACE, FHWA, and state DOTs.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory correspondence.
• Lead proposal efforts including capture planning and client presentations.
• Build relationships with clients, teaming partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor staff and help grow the practice in New England.
• Identify new business opportunities aligned with services.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and safety policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.
