Pattern Energy Group is seeking an Environmental Manager to provide environmental and permitting support for wind, solar, storage, and transmission development projects. The role involves assessing risk, managing permits, and supporting policy work across development lifecycles.

The candidate will oversee studies, coordinate with agencies, manage consultants, and contribute to due diligence and regulatory tracking to protect project value and timelines.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in environmental permitting or related field.
• Experience managing multiple projects across development stages.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental studies and permitting for wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects.
• Assess environmental risks and communicate to project teams and management.
• Obtain required environmental permits and approvals from authorities.
• Supervise environmental consultants, scopes of work and budgets.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for acquisitions and evaluate permitting considerations.
• Track regulatory developments impacting Pattern’s portfolio.
• Represent Pattern in industry conferences, working groups, and with agencies.
