Job summary

The role requires seven-plus years in environmental permitting or related fields, strong communication, and travel to project sites, agencies, and industry events.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of relevant work experience in environmental permitting or related fields.
• Experience managing multiple projects across development stages and changing priorities.
• Strong communication, coordination with consultants, agencies, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental studies and permitting for wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects, including regulatory strategies, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Assess environmental risks and communicate mitigation recommendations to project teams and management.
• Obtain environmental permits, approvals, and clearances from local, state, and federal agencies.
• Supervise environmental consultants, including scopes of work, schedules, budgets, and invoices.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for potential acquisitions and assess regulatory considerations.
• Track evolving environmental regulations and policy developments affecting projects.
• Represent Pattern in industry conferences and with local governments and agencies.
• Support broader project development activities such as interconnection, land, stakeholder engagement, and budgeting.
