Job summary

Broadreach Executive Search and Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced environmental permitting and project management professional in Massachusetts. You will identify regulatory requirements, coordinate with agencies, and prepare technical reports and permit applications for diverse projects.

The role involves leading project teams, developing proposals, and managing budgets, with regular interactions with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful permitting outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting experience in project management and environmental permitting.
• Massachusetts permitting experience including regulatory coordination and permit application development.
• Working knowledge of the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, MESA, MEPA, CEPA, Chapter 91, and Clean Water Act Sections 401, 404, and 408.
• Hands-on experience managing permitting applications from start to finish.
• Comfort representing clients in public settings.
• Familiarity with RFPs, invitations for bid, and tendering documents.
• Ability to review project work for cost, accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify project-specific environmental regulatory requirements and coordinate with resource agency personnel.
• Write and review technical reports; develop federal, state, and local permit applications.
• Present at public meetings and conservation commission hearings; drive permitting across multiple projects.
• Develop proposals and manage projects and budgets; build and lead project teams.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal staff; perform and oversee technical work.
