Job summary

Repsol Renewables North America is seeking an environmental professional to provide development support and management of environmental and regulatory permitting for large-scale renewable generation and storage projects across the U.S. This position reports to and works closely with the Director of Environmental Affairs and Permitting.

The role collaborates with Development, Engineering, Construction, Land and Legal teams to meet environmental compliance goals and manage external consultants

Qualifications

• Requires experience with permitting for industrial-scale energy projects (wind/solar) across the US.
• Experience with NEPA, state environmental acts, and energy regulatory proceedings.
• Familiarity with federal and state environmental laws and guidelines applicable to renewables.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and environmental consultants including scoping, directing and reviewing work products.
• Oversee environmental due diligence for project identification and development plans.
• Support schedule and budget development and track project performance toward goals.
• Interpret and disseminate environmental study results for various topics including biological, cultural, and other resources.
• Coordinate completion of NEPA/state reviews and other permitting documentation.
