Job summary

Enel North America, Inc. seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead permitting, due diligence and monitoring for renewable projects across wind, solar and storage.

You will manage internal and external resources and develop environmental specifications for authorization and monitoring, collaborating with BD and project teams. The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering, 4+ years’ experience, fluent English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in environmental roles within renewables.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting activities for renewable power plants (development, permitting, construction).
• Coordinate with BD, Project Engineers and other specialists on environmental aspects.
• Manage external contractors for environmental assessment, monitoring and related services.
• Develop and update technical specifications for environmental authorizations and monitoring plans.
• Support project teams to ensure compliance with environmental constraints and costs.
