Job summary

Stantec is seeking an exceptionally talented individual to join our team and lead permitting for complex pipeline and energy projects. You will work with a multidisciplinary group including biology, geoscience, engineering, and policy to navigate regulatory frameworks and deliver compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes managing FERC-regulated projects and coordinating agency interactions while maintaining strong client relationships and driving business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing pipeline projects and permitting large natural gas or liquids pipelines.
• Strong understanding of FERC/NEPA requirements and related mitigation.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and manage proposals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting projects across the US.
• Coordinate permit applications and agency engagements for regulatory sections.
• Develop client relationships and support proposal development.
• Create technical documents and review submissions for regulatory filings.
• Support HSSE policies and coordinate with HSE professionals during project phases.
• Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory Specialists for consistent execution.
• Contribute to multiple Stantec projects and offices nationwide.
