Job summary

Stantec seeks an exceptionally talented professional with a passion for permitting complex pipeline and energy projects. The role spans national projects with Hazards in biology, policy, and GIS expertise, contributing to energy transition initiatives such as Hydrogen and CCUS.

The position allows flexibility within Stantec's Gulf region and offers opportunities to lead midstream permitting teams across the US with a focus on regulatory coordination and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• 7+ years work experience in a similar role.
• 5+ years direct experience preparing and managing FERC permit applications.
• Experience with Threatened and Endangered Species, Section 404/10, and Section 106.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting and energy transition projects.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination for regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and support proposal development.
• Create and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment policies during all project phases.
• Collaborate with Environmental and Regulatory Specialists for consistent execution.
• Support multiple Stantec projects and offices nationwide.
