Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, seeks a Senior Operations Manager for the Mid Atlantic North team at Glen Burnie, MD. You will oversee all operations, recruit and manage Environmental Specialists, and report to the Assistant General Manager.

You will drive safety, training, and client deliverables, collaborating with Account Managers to meet regulatory and service standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related majors, or equivalent.
• 2+ years in the hazardous waste field.
• Knowledge of DOT, RCRA, and related regulations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reliable transportation to a Glen Burnie, MD site.
• Consent to MVRC screening, background checks, and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
• Random drug screening program participation as required.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds regularly.
• Flexible hours (Mon–Fri) and on-call for emergencies.
• Safety-sensitive role with PPE responsibilities.
• Prior relevant industry experience and CDL willingness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Environmental Specialists and Lab/Onsite teams at Mid Atlantic North.
• Develop staff goals and track progress during monthly 1-1s.
• Provide trainings, onboarding, and ongoing safety guidance.
• Collaborate with Account Managers on job scopes and client deliverables.
• Lead recruitment of Environmental Specialists and conduct orientation trainings.
• Drive safety culture and compliance across sites.
• Attend account meetings and ensure timely supply ordering.
• Support HR in performance evaluations and promotions.
