Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental, a leading environmental services firm, seeks a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Consultant for the Advisory Services team. The role is on-site with clients in the greater Baltimore area, based from Glen Burnie, MD, reporting to a regional EHS Manager or Director.

You will develop, deliver, and manage EHS programs and training, and perform risk assessments. With 5–8+ years in EH&S, you will drive compliance, investigate incidents, and advise on control

Qualifications

• 5 - 8+ years' experience in an EH&S capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or a related scientific field such as biology, chemistry, or engineering.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Experience developing and delivering OSHA compliance programs.
• Detail oriented.
• Problem solver with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client environmental, health and safety compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations, including management of licenses/permits.
• Develop and implement written health and safety programs (e.g., hazard communication, lockout tagout, confined space, fall protection, PPE, respiratory protection, electrical safety, hot work, machine guarding).
• Conduct risk assessments of work areas and implement control measures to reduce risks.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and communicate with workers about safe practices.
• Develop, deliver and manage client EHS training programs.
• Identify health hazards (toxic vapors, mold, explosive gas-air mixtures) and support control measures.
• Investigate accidents, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate with client personnel regarding safety issues and corrective actions.
• Liaise with client account management to meet expectations and grow services.
