Job summary

GHD in the United States is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to join the field team. You'll support soil and groundwater remediation O&M projects across the region, performing field sampling and system inspections.

You will work with a proactive team, handle equipment and chemical inventories, and coordinate with contractors, project teams, and clients. A high school diploma is required, with 5+ years of field experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree in environmental field preferred.
• 5+ years of environmental field experience.
• Must have electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability and willingness to perform field work and overtime.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support O&M of soil and groundwater remediation systems and perform field sampling.
• Inspect sites and monitor system performance; troubleshoot equipment.
• Manage inventory of equipment and chemicals; coordinate with contractors.
