Job summary

GHD is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to support remediation and operations & maintenance projects. You will operate remediation systems, collect samples, and coordinate with contractors and clients in a Durango, CO area environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of field experience, strong maintenance skills, and a valid driver's license; OSHA HAZWOPER certification is a plus. Role requires field work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of environmental field experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to perform field work and overtime as required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain soil and groundwater remediation systems, including troubleshooting.
• Collect data, conduct site inspections, and sample for system performance.
• Inventory equipment and chemicals.
• Maintain jobsite housekeeping.
• Perform field sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, vapor, etc.
