Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Attorney II - HSE to manage environmental remediation portfolios, HSE litigation, and public disclosures. The role supports regulatory filings and investor communications while coordinating with outside counsel and environmental consultants.

The ideal candidate holds a JD with at least four years in environmental law, including remediation and legacy liability experience, and knowledge of major environmental statutes.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar membership.
• At least 4 years of substantive environmental law practice with remediation or legacy liability focus.
• Knowledge of CERCLA/Superfund, RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, TSCA, and related statutes.
• Experience managing or supporting environmental litigation, including toxic tort or cost-recovery.

Responsibilities

• Support remediation strategy across multi-site projects with regulators and outside counsel.
• Manage environmental litigation and pursue cost-effective resolutions.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for M&A, and assist with disclosures and representations.
• Assist in SEC environmental disclosures and leadership briefings on liabilities.
