Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a senior Assistant General Counsel – HSE to lead legal strategy on environmental remediation and HSE litigation across active and legacy sites. You will work with the General Counsel - HSE and cross-functional partners to evaluate complex environmental liabilities, negotiate settlements, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will guide outside counsel, manage multi-site remediation projects, and provide counsel on OSHA enforcement, with a focus on aerospace

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar membership.
• 8+ years practicing environmental and occupational safety law, in-house or with law firm experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of CERCLA/Superfund, RCRA, CAA, CWA, and related statutes.

Responsibilities

• Shape legal strategy for environmental remediation and HSE litigation matters.
• Oversee CERCLA contribution claims, consent decrees, and cost-recovery actions.
• Advise on OSHA compliance and enforcement, including inspections and penalties.
• Coordinate with Global Real Estate on environmental aspects of property transactions and site access.
