Parker Aerospace in Irvine, California seeks a Project/Cognizant engineer for high‑complexity thermal management systems with emphasis on environmental control systems. You will ensure delivered systems meet specifications and serve as the customer interface for technical discussions, design reviews, and acceptance testing.

You will act as an integrated product team engineering lead, perform design reviews, and mentor colleagues while coordinating across lifecycle phases of major programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 6–8+ years in environmental control systems.
• Experience with design and fabrication of Environmental Control Systems; BS preferred, MS a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication; able to present to customers.
• US citizenship required; occasional travel may be required.

Responsabilités

• Resolves complex issues on critical programs related to architectural approaches, requirements, specifications, and design.
• Coordinates engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
• Develops new concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
• Creates briefing material for higher level management and customer meetings and reviews.
• May supervise lower-level engineers and act in a lead capacity.
