Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation, Irvine, CA, seeks a Project Engineer (SSO Division) to drive engineering projects to ensure reliability and cost targets. You will lead teams, manage scope, cost and schedule, and serve as a technical advisor on major initiatives.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with program management, and travel up to ~20% to Parker and JV sites, delivering engineering estimates and ensuring adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science; PE certificate preferred.
• 7–9 years of related experience typical for the role.
• Strong communication and project-management capabilities.
• Proficiency with software and data analysis, design and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects or phases of projects.
• Manage scope, cost and schedule; coordinate staff and resources.
• Maintain customer interface to present status and gather requirements.
• Apply Earned Value Management to control scope, schedule and cost.
• Develop engineering estimates and coordinate manual development, validation and training.
