Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irvine, CA is seeking a Project/Cognizant engineer to lead high‑complexity thermal management systems, with emphasis on environmental control and vapor cycle systems, and to ensure delivery meets customer specifications.

You will serve as the customer interface for technical discussions, design reviews, and acceptance testing, act as an integrated product team lead, and perform design reviews and drawing checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 6+ years related experience with emphasis on design and fabrication of environmental control systems is required.
• Experience in the Military/Aerospace Industry is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Resolve complex issues on architectures, requirements, specifications, and design for high‑level projects.
• Coordinate engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop new concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
• Create briefing material for management and customer meetings.
