Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Irvine, CA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to contribute to environmental control system design for aerospace applications. You will evaluate ECS architectures, sizing components, and modeling fluid and thermal loads to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires 2–5 years of design and development experience in industrial equipment, aerospace exposure, and strong communication skills for cross-functional teams and customer presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of experience with design, analysis and development of industrial equipment.
• Aerospace domain experience is a must.
• Knowledge of applied thermodynamics and mechanical design.
• Strong oral/written communication skills and ability to conduct effective oral presentations to customers.
• Knowledge of drawing and drafting standards a plus.
• Understanding of military specifications, environmental specifications, and test specifications desired.
• Hands-on test and hardware experience is required.
