Job summary

RahrBSG in Shakopee, MN seeks an Environmental Compliance Manager to lead environmental compliance and sustainability across the organization, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. You will oversee permitting, risk management, and EMS programs with a focus on air, water, stormwater, and waste, partnering with operations and engineering to support growth.

You will guide regulatory strategy, manage audits, and mentor teams while advancing proactive environmental stewardship

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate environmental compliance programs.
• Monitor and interpret environmental regulations and communicate obligations to leaders.
• Ensure facilities maintain permits, licenses, and approvals.
• Provide strategic guidance on environmental risks, regulatory requirements, and compliance strategies.
• Develop environmental standards, procedures, and best practices across operating companies.
• Manage 3rd party consultants and attorneys; advise management on compliance options.
