SRM Concrete is seeking an Environmental Specialist to advance our environmental initiatives across 24 states. You will oversee compliance, permits, and safety programs at multiple sites, partnering with regional teams.

The role emphasizes analysis, reporting, and training to empower sites to meet federal, state, and local requirements while supporting SRM's mission and values. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of environmental regulations, excellent analytical and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsabilités

• Oversee environmental compliance, develop sustainability initiatives, permits, and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Knowledge of NPDES, SPCC, and air permitting for various sources at Ready-Mix facilities.
• Conduct stormwater sampling and DMR submittals; manage annual reports.
• Prepare SWPPP and SPCC plans; uphold EPA submittal platforms.
• Inspect sites for safety, health, and environmental risks; implement policies and schedules.
• Develop health and safety procedures and conduct required trainings.
• Maintain hazardous waste records and ensure MSDS accessibility.
