Job summary

Versique Executive, Professional & Interim Recruiting is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for a facility southwest of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and coordinating the safety program to reduce injuries and ensure regulatory compliance.

Reports include one direct report. The EHS Manager will oversee compliance for air, water, and waste, manage wastewater treatment operations, and lead safety training and inspections to meet PSM/RMP requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years related experience in wastewater and safety.
• Knowledge of MPCA/PSM/OSHA/MNOSHA regulations.
• Water/Wastewater Operator License and Hazardous Waste Training Certification required for VSQG.
• BS or BA degree.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication.
• Current knowledge of local, state and federal programs and regulations.
• Lifting up to 75 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate the safety program to reduce injuries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental laws.
• Oversee air, water, and waste permits and reporting.
• Lead monthly safety and ergonomic inspections and drive improvements.
• Coordinate emergency planning for fires, severe weather, spills, etc.
