Job summary

EMR is seeking an Environmental Manager to strengthen its Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) program across the Northern Region in Minnesota. You’ll oversee environmental initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance, partnering with regional leadership and site managers to promote environmental responsibility and continuous improvement.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong knowledge of environmental regulations, excellent organization and communication, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze information, manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional environmental programs, policies and initiatives as part of EMR’s SHE program.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements
• Monitor environmental performance and maintain required reports and documentation
• Conduct site visits and environmental audits to support environmental compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental policies and practices
• Partner with regional leadership, management, and other SHE team members to address environmental concerns and improve compliance across regional locations.
