Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Systems Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure across classified environments. The role requires strong virtualization, storage, AD, and network expertise, with TS/SCI clearance and DoD/Federal experience. You will design, implement, maintain, and secure complex systems, coordinating with cybersecurity and engineering teams.

This full-time onsite role demands leadership, problem-solving, and documenting runbooks for ongoing operations, upgrades, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including Cisco UCS, Active Directory, storage platforms, Windows Server environments, and network infrastructure.
• Assist with infrastructure modernization efforts, technology refresh projects, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
• Administer enterprise storage platforms and support backup, disaster recovery, replication, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, firmware updates, patching, maintenance actions, and changes within production environments.
