Job summary
Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Meade, MD. You will support mission-critical IT capabilities for the DoD, contribute to design and deployment of secure systems, and work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
This role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a strong background in enterprise IT and cyber defense. You will collaborate across virtualization, security, and systems engineering domains, driving solutions that ensure scalable
Qualifications
- Experience with Windows Server and AD environments in DoD contexts.
- Strong background in virtualization, storage, and enterprise IT architectures.
- Familiarity with DoD cyber standards and RMF processes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify solutions based on system requirements
- Contribute to system design, development, and engineering tasks
- Manage workload during Agile sprints using JIRA/Confluence
- Produce system architecture documentation and integration planning
- Deploy enterprise-level virtualization and management suites
- Install, configure, test, and maintain OS and applications
- Deliver new technical solutions and advise government customers
- Perform system updates to enhance performance
