Amentum in Columbia, MD seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead enterprise infrastructure initiatives across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and identity services. You will drive modernization, set standards, and ensure reliability in a highly secure environment.

The role requires hands-on expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to execute complex projects with strong incident response and after‑hours availability. Onsite in Columbia, MD.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco UCS architecture, administration, and lifecycle management.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, Nutanix.
• Advanced network design including routing, switching, segmentation, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, implementation, operation, and modernization of compute, storage, network, virtualization, and identity services.
• Design, deploy, and support enterprise network solutions across classified environments.
• Develop engineering standards, roadmaps, and documentation.
• Mentor infrastructure personnel and lead complex projects.
