Amentum is seeking a seasoned network engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise and classified network environments. You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices across multiple sites, ensuring high availability and robust security.

You will collaborate with systems, cybersecurity, and engineering teams, support upgrades and modernization projects, and contribute to documentation, SOPs, and architecture diagrams. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise networks.
• Experience designing for classified network environments.
• Experience with Cisco routing & switching platforms.
• Experience administering Palo Alto firewalls and security policies.
• Experience with TACLANE encryption devices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices in classified and enterprise environments.
• Troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents to maintain high availability.
• Support upgrades, technology refreshes, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams, docs, SOPs, and baselines.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and security posture; identify improvements.
• Collaborate with systems, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to design secure, scalable networks.
• Support vulnerability remediation, compliance, and configuration management.
• Manage service requests and changes through ticketing/workflow systems.
• Evaluate emerging networking technologies and propose reliable solutions.
