Qualifications

• Experience supporting or engineering enterprise IT environments.
• Strong Windows and Linux systems knowledge.
• Scripting or automation experience; PowerShell preferred.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, systems administration, networking, security, and operational management.
• Ability to independently research, test, analyze, and develop solutions.
• Strong communication skills with engineers, architects, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Solve the hard problems by investigating enterprise IT issues, identifying root causes, testing hypotheses, and recommending paths forward.
• Design and improve capabilities that can be deployed, monitored, secured, and maintained across 50,000–100,000 devices.
• Engineer across the organization’s 28 IT services to improve operational effectiveness.
• Build and automate using PowerShell, scripting, APIs, automation platforms, and other tools.
• Research emerging technologies and prototype approaches before they become requirements.
• Support architecture and engineering by collaborating with senior engineers to validate designs and turn concepts into solutions.
