Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise IT Operations & Asset Management Engineer to support a large enterprise. The role focuses on change management, asset lifecycle tracking, licensing, procurement, and vendor coordination across servers, storage, and networks.

You will work with security, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure accurate records, compliant processes, and reliable IT services across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related IT operations experience.
• Experience with enterprise IT asset and configuration management.
• Familiarity with license management and procurement.
• Strong change management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enterprise change management activities across engineering disciplines.
• Engineer and maintain enterprise asset information in ServiceNow.
• Manage configuration and lifecycle of assets across the environment.
• Coordinate hardware and software maintenance with vendors and renewals.
• Coordinate acquisitions and ensure entitlements and security requirements.
• Maintain accurate software licensing records for all products.
• Serve as operational contact for major technology vendors.
